CHAA's operators work across almost all streams of the health care system: subsidized housing, lodges, home care, designated supportive living, long-term care, acute care, and palliative and end-of-life care. This gives us a unique system-level vantage point to observe gaps and challenges between the interconnected parts of the system.
Our operators have developed tremendous expertise in understanding the process flows between independent/community living, home care, acute care, and facility-based care. We’re continually advising health care officials on innovative, system-wide solutions to address pressures and access issues — particularly ideas that are quick wins and can be implemented on short notice. We’re also working on longer-term concepts that require an investment of time and resources to set up the best possible solutions and protocols.
