What’s the difference between publicly funded and private-pay continuing care?
There are four types of private versus public funding and delivery.
Services can be either publicly funded (through taxes) or privately funded (paid by the user).
Facilities (where services are delivered) can be either publicly owned (government/AHS) or privately owned (by a private company).
