Carla has worked with The Bethany Group for 30 years in a variety of roles, Clinical Support Manager, Manager of Planning and Corporate Strategies, Director of Housing and Community Services and Director of Health Services among them. She led the implementation of the Rosehaven Provincial Program in 2000, working with health authorities from across the province.

In 2017, as the Director of Housing & Community Services, she implemented a tenant engagement plan and coordinated a realignment of the program consistent with government’s vision. In 2018, as the Director of Health Services, Carla was pivotal in the development of Bethany’s Risk Management and Quality Improvement initiatives.

Under her leadership, The Bethany Group’s health programs received Accreditation with Commendation with Accreditation Canada. She led the organization’s COVID-19 response, and despite the physical, emotional and spiritual toll of the pandemic, Bethany’s team continues to thrive.

In 2021, Carla Beck was appointed by the Governing Board as the first female CEO in the 100-year history of The Bethany Group and won the Camrose Chamber of Commerce ‘Woman in Business’ award.
